I'm a 30-something, single, down-to-earth kind of girl, who loves sports, rock & roll, spicy food, scary movies, rainy days, but most of all...whole-hearted laughter.

Oh yeah...I happen to be transsexual.

And honestly, that's about where that little detail falls on my list of importance or self-identity. I don't carry my situation as a burden, nor do I feel that the world owes me anything; because I know that there are many others who are much worse off than I.

I'm pretty simple, actually. I don't have much, never have...and it wouldn't break my heart if I never do. I'm professional and work hard though (in the real world, at a legitimate job). I'm not the materialistic type who has to have nice things in order to feel good about myself. I FEEL good about myself because I'm finally the person I always longed to be. And quite frankly, that's enough for me. Everything else is just gravy.

I live with my two cats...and they're all the company I really need, although it does get lonely at times...and I suppose that's what brings me HERE.

I've tried the internet dating thing a few times...with mixed results, met some interesting people, had some fun, and definitely have learned a few lessons along the way. It's a tough game...seemingly safe, yet inherently dangerous at the same time. And I suppose the yearning for companionship outweighs my skepticism.

So don't be shy...but please mind your manners. I'm not here looking for kicks...or to help you get yours. I'm real and genuine, strait-forward and honest, passionate and loyal. I might not be the girl next door...but all things considered...I could be one of the coolest chicks you'll ever meet.
