i'm a proud and crazy transguy who has been 'out' for going on three years now, but i identified as genderqueer for quite some time before that. I major in gender studies at school so most of my education revolves around gender, sex, and sexuality, although i by no means consider myself an authority on any of those subjects. i like to think of myself as a work in progress, moving from the nobody i was in high school to a self-assured, slightly cocky, but always smiling and friendly guy thanks to the effects of T (since May 07) and chest surgery (January 08). part of transitioning has also included an evolution of my sexuality, as i have become more and more attracted to fellow FTMs and masculine identified people, regardless of physical body type, gender presentation, sexual orientation, etc. I've also found a sort of freedom and excitement in expanding my sexual horizons (so to speak) and am slowly learning the flagging system...most days you'll catch me with black and white checkers, light blue, or light pink, usually in the left pocket, although i identify heavily as a switch. i am dorky and quirky and totally random, but lots of fun and lots of laughs. i would add the whole "in my spare time" bit to this, but between school, work (manager of a Ben and Jerry's), and playing dad to my two dogs, i'm usually left pretty exhausted at the end of the day. i'm a movie nerd and a nomad who enjoys riding the bus or walking for the sole purpose of people watching. i spend hours on end daydreaming and am trying to find a way to create a career from it since i'm 21 and graduating and still have no idea what i want to do with my life. despite the terror of this, i'm kinda ok with the uncertainty, since it leaves more time for me to enjoy friends and the general craziness life has to offer... say hi sometime, AIM BoiOfTheCentury
